This year we’ll be doing our carol concert a little bit differently! Unfortunately, due to the accident at St Mary’s Footbridge, there is no safe crossing at St Mary’s Halt to the Church, so instead we will be going on a Carol journey – a pilgrimage, if you will.

We will be stopping at the stations during the journey to hear the Christmas Story and sing Carols.

Your evening will begin at 17:30, with an introduction on Norchard High Level Platform 3, departing shortly thereafter. There will be several stops at the stations during the journey, with the train returning to Norchard at 19:30. After the service there will be a free mulled wine and mince pies on offer, with the evening wrapping up at approximately 19:45.

Please note that if the weather is particularly bad we will have the carols and readings on board the train instead of at the stations, which may make the total time a little less than planned.
