Diesel Multiple Unit Train Ride Through Dean Forest!

Enjoy a relaxing journey along the Dean Forest Railway, sampling what we have to offer with a return journey along half the line at half the normal price! Looking for something a little extra? Add a takeaway bacon roll, sausage bap or sausage & bacon baguette with a hot drink, available for pickup from Whistles Cafe before your train ride.

Trains depart Norchard Station (GL15 4ET) on the hour (first departure at 10:00, last at 15:00), with the return from Parkend departing at half past the hour (first at 10:30, last at 15:30). Tickets allow you to either stay on the train for the 45 minute return trip, or travel from Norchard to Parkend and return on a later train, or travel for longer throughout the day if you want to.

Please note that there is no parking available at Parkend Station, whereas Norchard Station has a large, free car park.

Don’t forget to visit our shop, museum and cafe at Norchard Station, which are open all day (although the cafe closes after the last trip departs).
